Are you going to do some fund raising to help Home-Start?
There are plenty of ways you can fundraise. A great way to start is with an online fundraising page. It’s easy to set up your JustGiving page and start raising money for charity. Once you’ve started receiving donations, JustGiving will take care of sending them to us.

- Visit the JustGiving website: Go to www.justgiving.com.
- Sign up or log in:
• If you don’t already have a JustGiving account, click on “Sign Up” to create one.
• If you already have an account, click on “Log In” and enter your details. - Once you’re logged in, click on the “Start Fundraising” button on the top-right of the page.
- You’ll be asked whether you’re fundraising for a charity or for a personal cause. Select Charity Fundraising
- Search for Home-Start Trafford, Salford and Wigan by name or number (RCN 1115320)
- Select whether you are raising in memory of someone.
- You will now be asked, “Are you taking part in an activity” – select I’m doing my own activity or choose to be involved with a HSTS one.
- Select your type of activity and then give your fundraiser a catchy name
- Set your target and decide how much money you aim to raise.
- Edit your profile if you want to. There will be a description of Home-Start’s work already filled in and you can add a picture. JustGiving will automatically generate a website address for your page (a URL). You can edit your website address it to make it short and memorable. For example: www.justgiving.com/fundraising/Jennas-fund-for-HSTS
- Click Finalise.
- Tick the box for Keeping in Touch
- Click Launch my page
