HSTSW provide an Infant Feeding Peer Support service to new and expectant parents in Salford. We provide information and support to help parents make informed choices around feeding their baby.

We offer:

• One-to-one breastfeeding/chestfeeding/ mixed feeding evidence-based support via telephone and home visits where appropriate
• Support alongside parent support groups held at the family hubs and other community locations

• Partnership working with midwives and health professionals to provide a seamless pathway of care for parents through the perinatal period
• Provide evidence-based information to expectant parents in helping them explore their options ahead of baby’s birth – we offer antenatal support through our Baby Feeding drop-ins and over the phone.
